Grand Prix Championship 1998 Results
(Next Tournament Feb 26-28, 1999)
The following are the results of Grand Prix Championship held Dec 11-13, 1998 for Men's Singles, Women Singles, Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles for Vancouver Tennis Center Grand Prix Competition.
1998 Final:
The playoffs are complete! VTC's first Grand Prix Championship was played at VTC on December 11-13, 1998 to determine the best players in the Greater Vancouver-Portland area in each level of play, from 3.0 to open, and each event - singles, doubles and mixed doubles. The players and teams were invited to play in this Championship based on their performance in the qualifying Grand Prix tournaments held during the 1998 season.1999 Season:
The 1999 VTC Grand Prix tournaments are now in progress! The first tournament was held Nov 1998. Grand Prix Tournaments will be held in Feb, June and Nov of 1999. The rules are simple - do well in at least two of the four qualifying Grand Prix tournaments and you will probably acquire enough points for the invitational. Mark these dates on your calendars and make sure you give yourself a run at making the Playoffs, which will be held in December 1999. Remember that you will be playing at your own level. The competition is fast and furious, but always fun! This year's tournaments will be better than ever, so don't miss this unique opportunity to show off your tennis skills!(For rules and information on the Grand Prix...)
